Why Prague?
Taste your city. Taste Prague.
The Czech Republic is referred to as the Heart of Europe; Prague is the heart of the Czech Republic. It's a magical city where legends come to life.
Each of our narrow streets are full of mysteries, history, and hidden gems. In addition, we have lovely parks, breathtaking views, and of course, wonderful cuisine.
Restaurants
My favourite restaurants in Prague
Eska
A café, bakery and restaurant in a converted fabric factory. The dining room has a stark, industrial feel with exposed bricks, pipework and girders, and the open kitchen adds to the buzz. Old family favourites are given modern makeovers; much use is made of traditional techniques like marinating and fermenting.

Chef-owner Tomaš Černy worked in the best Italian restaurants in the city for many years before opening his own charming neighbourhood restaurant north of the river. The menu mixes Czech and Italian dishes and showcases some top quality imported ingredients. Dishes are robust and packed with flavour.

What I like about it
A mixture of a bit of posh, elegance, Mediterranean atmosphere. The staff is excellent, so are the cocktails.

Alma's core value is respect for ingredients. Respect for their seasonality, their personality, their origin, and their creators. We get the best out of our ingredients by utilizing various techniques – dry-ageing,fermentation or with various forms of fire, from the yakitori grill to our wood-burning oven.
